Thoughts on Isaiah 43:10-12

10 “You are My witnesses,” declares the LORD, “And My servant whom I have chosen, So that you may know and believe Me And understand that I am He. Before Me there was no God formed, And there will be none after Me. 11 “I, even I, am the LORD, And there is no savior besides Me. 12 “It is I who have declared and saved and proclaimed, And there was no strange god among you; So you are My witnesses,” declares the LORD, “And I am God.

Can you remember as a young child going on a sleep over to a friends house? I can remember those days and my mom giving me some instructions before I left the house. She told me that I needed to be on my best behavior. My actions represented her and all that she and my father had instilled in me.

Here in Isaiah 43:10-12 God is saying to His children that they are His witnesses that were chosen to represent the foundation of faith to the world. They are too declare to the world that God cannot be formed by the hands of men. He is the only one that offers salvation. He proclaims that His children are to be pure and not worship any other gods. They are to be a representation of who He is as Creator, God, Lord, Father, and Savior.

Today as you prayer, let you prayer be, God instill in me that which You desire for me to represent to those around me. My I be Your witness of grace, joy, peace, faithfulness, compassion, mercy, patience, humbleness, hope, and true salvation. Help me represent You today Lord. Amen...
